Seek Ye First

I love my garden and so enjoy watching the experts at Chelsea. To work ,walk, play in a garden is a gift and a real joy.

The gardens at The Chelsea Flower show are almost perfect and I wonder if God looks down and smiles, reflecting on His creation, would he of been rewarded with a Gold Medal for the original Eden Project?

Gardens are so relaxing and in this ever increasingly chaotic world a haven a much needed sanctuary, God created order out of chaos, He designed the ultimate garden for His children His Family to enjoy, grow and develop, but they and we choose to go our own way and ignore what God has ordained as a place to walk with Him.

We all need to find a space a place a time to seek Him, find somewhere today to seek and find, to listen and to learn.

O God My Creator
Graham Kendrick
O God my creator, create in meThat river of water that flows full and freeLet it bring life to the dead and stagnant seaSpring up, O well, and flow on out of meWe come to the throneWhere flows the living streamAnd drink from the water And drink from the waterAnd drink from the water that flows from TheeO God my Creator, create in meThat new way of living that flows full and freeLet it bring life to the wilderness of manSpring up, O well, and flood this thirsty land

What a load of Rubbish

Since last Easter Bank holiday I have been really keyed up about the rubbish left behind over the moor. I and other neighbours have spent many an hour picking up the litter, this has now become a regular occurrence, but I have decided not to fret but allow the system to take control of the situation. This being the powers that be (Boxmoor Trust and the Council)

It also made me realise I should concentrate and spend my time on people and issues I can help rather than wasting my time clearing up other peoples mess.

Some people in the world don't have a choice they have to live and work on rubbish tips.

The youth(some of them) could do with an experience of that lifestyle to appreciate what they have and learn to respect their environment

Psalm 37 (New International Version)
(NIV)

Psalm 37
Of David.

1 [a] Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.
