'Let there be light'

Just watched Simon Schamas' Power of Art again, Vincent Van Gogh was apparently the son of a preacher, while Vincent was growing up he had a great desire to share the gospel with the poor, but unfortunately his zeal became his downfall and he was kicked out of the church.
He decided to start painting and the light he wanted to share on the streets, he put into his painting. But eventually his passion took over his mind and his tragic death followed.
