Our Paperman gets CROSS for Easter
“DISCOVERY”: ASSEMBLES & CLUBS
Helping children to find out about Jesus.
This last half-term we have been studying the story of Matthew.
We also shared how to make a CROSS out of paper.
One boy said that after he had heard me in Assembly say that Jesus wants to be everyone’s friend, he repeated the same message at his church Bible club.
When demonstrating the paper Cross, I have been amazed at the response at each school. At one school we were even applauded! I followed that by saying that Jesus wants us to clap Him for dying for us and the whole school
burst into applause! At each school I suggested that we put our names on the Cross and then explained that Jesus died for each one of us and wants to forgive us, all we have to do is say “Sorry” and mean it.
Lots of schools wanted to know how we made the Cross so that they could do it in class. Pray for the power of the Cross to touch these children’s lives.
Also do please pray for the Children’s Bibles. Pray that we will get more feedback. I just know that they are being used, but pray that they will be more read. Pray, too, for more funding for the project next year.
Finally, thank you for all your support and prayers. May I encourage you to keep on praying and to continue reading that special book, THE BIBLE
